Prescription Safety Glasses

If you spend significant time in any lab, you should get prescription safety glasses.  Stanford EH&S holds a monthly pop-up optometry booth, where you can bring your prescription to purchase your own prescription safety glasses.  Basic glasses run <$200; bifocal and progressives are available at additional cost.  The School of Engineering will cover the cost or prescription safety glasses for its researchers and staff.  If you are not part of Stanford's SoE, ask your department if the cost is covered.  Non-Stanford labmembers can also take advantage of the convenience of this program (credit cards are accepted.)  Look out for announcements on the SNF Labmembers email list for the next pop-up session.
